Arte Spa & Park Hotel

Arte Spa & Park Hotel is among the most recognisable spa hotels in Bulgaria and a leader in its class in Velingrad. The hotel's impressive salt room features wide display windows and an accent wall of Himalayan bricks. The main challenge was placing the halogenerator in a separate service room while ensuring the salt aerosol reached the therapy zone effectively. To achieve this, we developed a bespoke duct solution enabling the transport of salt aerosol through the building structure. More than four years later, the system continues to run reliably with no complaints.

Wide display windows open the salt room up to its surroundings, making it a visible part of the spa centre rather than a closed-off room to one side. The accent wall of Himalayan bricks gives the eye a clear focal point and signals that this is a salt room before anyone even steps inside.

Behind this look lies a solution guests never see. The halogenerator, made by us, runs in a separate service room, and the salt aerosol travels through the building structure before reaching the therapy zone. A route like this cannot be added at the last minute – it is planned together with the ventilation and other installations, which is why technical planning is a key stage in every project we take on.

Separating the unit from the room also has a practical side: there is no halogenerator inside the room itself, and the equipment can be serviced without entering the therapy zone. The interior, with its windows and brick wall, remains entirely devoted to guests.

More than four years without complaints show that this kind of setup is reliable in a hotel spa environment as well. If the room planned for your hotel's salt room cannot house the unit itself, get in touch to discuss placing it in a separate service room.

A salt room is a natural complement to the spa zone and helps diversify the guests' stay. Beyond an attractive design and pleasant atmosphere, correctly selected equipment, safety in the humid environment and reliable long-term operation all play an important role.

Every project starts with a survey of the space and a working concept based on the venue’s goals. This is followed by technical planning of ventilation, lighting and equipment, construction of the salt surfaces and installation of our in-house halogenerator. We finish with setup and training on operation and maintenance, and remain available for service and consumables.
