What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that the site you visit stores in your browser on the device you are using. They contain a short string of letters and numbers — typically an identifier or a preference — that distinguishes you from other visitors. On your next visit, your browser returns those files to the site, so the site "remembers" who you are or what you chose in a previous session.

Not all cookies do the same thing. Some are "strictly necessary" — without them the site simply does not work (for example, the one that stores your cookie-consent choice). Others are "functional" — they store preferences that make the site more convenient, but are not required (for example, your language choice). Analytics and marketing cookies collect data about your behaviour on the site or about ads on other sites — they require your explicit consent before being placed.

Cookies we use

The site uses a small set of cookies, most of which are strictly necessary for its core functions. The table below describes each cookie — name, provider, category, purpose and storage duration. Strictly necessary cookies are always set, because the site does not work correctly without them. The analytics and external cookies in the table are set only if you have consented to the relevant category through the cookie banner.

Managing your consent

On your first visit, a consent banner appears at the bottom of the site. Through it you can accept all categories, reject everything beyond what is strictly necessary, or open a detailed view where you toggle each category individually. Your choice is recorded in the `srh_consent` cookie for one year, so we do not ask you again on every visit.

You can change this choice at any time — click the "Cookie preferences" button at the bottom of this page to reopen the banner in re-consent mode. Your new choice overwrites the previous one. If you delete the `srh_consent` cookie manually from your browser settings, the banner will reappear on your next page load.

How to disable cookies

You can manage or fully block cookies from your browser settings. Every modern browser lets you review stored cookies, delete specific records, and block new ones — either from all sites at once or selectively from specific domains. Note that blocking "strictly necessary" cookies (such as `srh_consent`) will impair normal use of the site — the consent banner will appear on every visit.

Links to the help pages of the major browsers are provided below in the page template (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). As an alternative, most browsers offer an "incognito" or "private browsing" mode that automatically deletes cookies once you close the window.

Third-party cookies

Third-party cookies are loaded only after your consent to the relevant category. These are: the Google Analytics 4 cookies (loaded through Google Tag Manager), which are activated only if you consent to the “Analytics” category; and the Google Maps cookies, which load only when you choose to view the interactive map on the Contact page (the “External services” category).

Regardless of your consent choice, Cloudflare may set a technical cookie (prefixed __cf_) that protects the enquiry form against automated abuse. It is strictly necessary, is not used for tracking or advertising, and does not identify you personally. Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to update this policy when necessary — for example when a new cookie is introduced, when a hosting or CDN provider changes, or following material changes to legislation on electronic communications and privacy.

The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically, particularly after consent-banner notifications about new cookie categories. For material changes that require a fresh consent, the banner will reappear automatically.
