How a salt room is built

Building a salt room requires proper planning, a precise sequence of execution and well-specified equipment. At HIMALAYA Build we follow a clear process that starts with a survey and concept and ends with a finished facility, commissioned and ready for use.

Main stages of salt room construction

Planning and design

Everything starts with an analysis of the space and clarifying the project goals.

  • Survey and assessment – we evaluate the characteristics of the space, the available conditions and what solution is appropriate.
  • Concept design – we prepare a working concept and visual direction based on the space, type of facility and desired aesthetic.
  • Technical planning – we plan the necessary systems such as ventilation, electrical installation, lighting, underfloor heating and equipment.

Construction and installation

After the concept is approved, the actual build work begins.

  • Main construction – preparation of the surfaces and execution of the planned elements.
  • Salt surfaces and decorative elements – work with white Greek salt for the salt plaster and floor, Himalayan bricks and backlit elements.
  • Lighting and equipment – installation of concealed lighting, adjustable lights and colours, halogenerator, ventilation and all other necessary components.

Commissioning and handover

After construction is complete, the facility is prepared for real operation.

  • Setup and testing – we check the main systems and equipment operation.
  • Training – we provide instructions for operating the halogenerator and guidance on maintenance.
  • Handover of completed facility – finished and ready for use.

What you receive at the end of the process

  • A completed and operational facility
  • Installed and configured equipment
  • A solution tailored to the space and project goal
  • Operational training and maintenance guidance
  • Ongoing support and servicing availability
