One of our most distinctive projects, created for work with children with special educational needs. The space features a house built from illuminated Himalayan bricks, decorative clouds, photo-murals, RGB dimmable lighting, and numerous visual effects that support the day-to-day work of the specialists.
In a learning space for children with special educational needs, every detail of the environment matters – light, colour and a sense of security. A salt room can become a natural part of such a space, because it combines a calm atmosphere with a material that children can see, touch and explore through play.
At Malka Zanimalnya in the Danube town of Silistra, we approached the project not as a standard salt room but as a working environment for the specialists. The illuminated Himalayan brick house gives the space a fairy-tale, homely character, while the decorative clouds and photo-murals add to the feeling of a world made to a child's measure. The dimmable RGB lighting allows the light to be softer or more vivid, depending on the activity and the team's judgement.
In projects like this we aim for a calm environment in which light, shapes, colours and play with salt can become part of everyday activities. The room does not replace the specialists' work; it gives them one more tool to use in their own way. Halotherapy, for its part, is associated with respiratory prevention, immune support in adults and children, and a sense of relaxation.

How we work on projects: Children's and Family Spaces
For nurseries and children's centres the focus is on prevention, a play environment and a safe, attractive design that combines productive time with an enjoyable experience. In work with children who have special needs, a calm environment and engaging attention through light, shapes, colours and play with salt support the work of specialists.
Every project starts with a survey of the space and a working concept based on the venue’s goals. This is followed by technical planning of ventilation, lighting and equipment, construction of the salt surfaces and installation of our in-house halogenerator. We finish with setup and training on operation and maintenance, and remain available for service and consumables.
