HIMALAYA Build delivered a salt room for DG Detelina, a kindergarten in Byala Slatina. In our children's projects the main focus is on prevention, a play-friendly environment and a design that is both safe and appealing. A salt room in a kindergarten should be convenient for group activities and interesting enough for the little ones to see it as a place to play rather than a procedure.
Halotherapy is associated with respiratory prevention, immune support in adults and children, and a sense of relaxation. When such a space is part of the kindergarten itself, it fits into the usual rhythm of the day without the children having to leave their familiar surroundings. For parents, the salt room is a visible sign of the care the kindergarten puts into the environment in which their children grow up.

For nurseries and children's centres the focus is on prevention, a play environment and a safe, attractive design that combines productive time with an enjoyable experience. In work with children who have special needs, a calm environment and engaging attention through light, shapes, colours and play with salt support the work of specialists.
Every project starts with a survey of the space and a working concept based on the venue’s goals. This is followed by technical planning of ventilation, lighting and equipment, construction of the salt surfaces and installation of our in-house halogenerator. We finish with setup and training on operation and maintenance, and remain available for service and consumables.
