One of the largest commercial salt room venues in Northern Bulgaria. The complex comprises three independent salt rooms — one large family room and two individual chambers. The main technical challenge was having two of the rooms served by a single halogenerator via a specially designed ductwork route. The solution enables effective distribution of the salt aerosol and optimal operation of the venue.
In Ruse, the largest Bulgarian city on the Danube, Salt Health was built as a standalone salt centre where halotherapy is the core service rather than an add-on to another business. In a model like this, the salt rooms themselves are the product the venue sells, so their layout and the technical side need to be thought through together from the very first stage.
The three separate rooms give the venue flexibility: the large family room is intended for visits with children, while the two individual chambers can run in parallel with it. Serving two of the rooms from a single halogenerator means the ductwork route has to be matched to the room layout, the ventilation and the electrical installation as early as the technical planning stage. The halogenerator is manufactured by HIMALAYA Build itself, which gives us better control over tuning it to the venue's workload.
For visitors, this means they can use the salt room with their family or in a separate chamber, in a salt environment associated with respiratory prevention, immune support and a sense of relaxation. For the owner, having fewer units than rooms means less equipment to look after day to day, and whenever settings, consumables or servicing are needed, the contact is directly with the manufacturer.

How we work on projects: Commercial Salt Rooms and Centres
In standalone salt rooms the focus is on halotherapy as the primary service. What matters is the right equipment, guidance for the entrepreneur, work organisation, competitive design and the ability to run therapy sessions and courses with maximum benefit for clients.
Every project starts with a survey of the space and a working concept based on the venue’s goals. This is followed by technical planning of ventilation, lighting and equipment, construction of the salt surfaces and installation of our in-house halogenerator. We finish with setup and training on operation and maintenance, and remain available for service and consumables.
