Salt Air

Salt Air in Pernik is a centre where the salt room is part of a wider idea built around movement, breathing and looking after yourself. In a setting like this, halotherapy sits naturally alongside training and breathing practices as one more way for visitors to slow down in a calm environment.

The room's atmosphere is set by a decorative photo-mural that gives the space a look of its own. The integrated TV with a special cooling system is an example of a detail where interior and technology have to be considered together from the design stage. We build solutions like this into the concept alongside the ventilation, lighting and electrical installation, so that no compromises are needed during construction. The halogenerator is of our own manufacture and was selected to suit the room and the way it is used — an approach we follow on every project.

Visitors can combine time in the salt room with the centre's other activities, and the TV makes the time spent inside more varied. The salt environment is associated with a sense of relaxation, which makes it a logical continuation of the active part of the day.
